So from time to time a friend will message me and tell me a good tip about detailing. I was thinking this might catch on here for some of the new guys to read through and get some quick help. I will start off: A short napped microfiber soaked in just water and rung out well will clean windows about as good as anything else out there. Now from time to time you might need something a little stronger for bug guts or whatever, but for the most part it will clean most crap from the windows and once buffed with another short napped mf or ww your windows will be streak free. Who is next??
For badly stained or neglected convertible fabric tops. Leave fabric cleaner on overnight, keep damp by covering with a plastic sheet, once stains are removed rinse thoroughly and apply protection
If you're wearing a belt while performing correction, put your belt on sideways so that the buckle is on your hip to reduce the risk of scratching the paint.
A damp (soak it in water with a few drops of ONR, and then wring out well) WW MF drying towel dries paintwork better and feels softer then a dry drying towel...
