I'm pretty much just walking around my house in the dark using it. The Tuesday Morning that had it in stock was pretty sneaky I think. They were hidden on the bottom shelf behind a couple of boxes. I spent at least 5 minutes in front of 2 stands of shelves looking for it. Just rummagin through some other stuff, I found a Brinkman 3 LED headlamp so I bought that too. I'm so glad I joined this forum.
lol...sweet I thought I was the only one that did that at home hahahahaha..my little girl and I play with the brinkman..we pretend we are shooting each other with the lights hahahahaha...well we have fun with them.
I actually have 2 now. I bought one from Walmart for 20 bucks and then realized it wasn't the dual Xenon. It was a 1 million candlepower halogen spot light with a LED option. I then got the dual xenon from Pep Boys and I found the Walmart one is actually brighter and shows the flaws better IMHO. Not sure which one I will end up keeping. The Spot is real bright in the center and a bigger area is illuminated and the Dual is a smaller field and much more even with no bright spots. Just figured I would throw this out there incase anybody is looking for a substitute to the Dual Xenon. Walmarts Brinkmann Halogen/LED Spotlight - Wal-Mart
Yes, I think common sense pretty much tells us that. Although I do have to say that even the reflection from your cars finish is a bit bright and should be avoided.
Sure, if you go to the Walmart link there is a pic also. I will also try to link to it here. If these are not good enough I will gladly take a few shots for you.
Hmmm, that Wally World one is bigger than the one I bought last night. I may need to go check it out. The thing is, my garage is only a single car garage and too narrow for me to have the 2 big halogens on a stand behind me. I actually haven't even tried detailing inside it b/c it gets too hot (detached garage). I dunno, having the dual 500W Halogen stand behind me outside is a bit over the top for me because my neighbors already think I'm a freak about detailing. So I figured the Brinkman would suffice for now. And yes, I blinded myself multiple times last night on accident. If you're against firearms in the house, flashing this thing in an intruder's eyes in a dark house could be the difference between life or death. The temporary blindness would be very effective for buying you the time you need to shoot back or use a baseball bat/kali stick. :ar15:
Oops sorry I wasn't specific enough . Would you mind taking a picture of the lenses of the flaslight? thanks a lot!!
I love my brinkman.. thanks tonya for the back up... I'd hate to be with out it... With that, my dual halogens and the sun I am set for now...
After using it for the first time last week for paint inspection I dont know how I ever lived without it. It really is just a nice tool for inspect and check your work. Now I can leave my big halogens in one place and carry the brinkmann around to different panels.
