So lately i've been thinking about selling my PC7424 and getting a more powerful DA. I'm kinda split between the G110v2 from Megs, and the Griots 6in DA. I was also considering the Flex, but it is significantly more money, but not completely out of the picture. Now the questions: -What are people's experiences with these DA's? -Do the Megs G and Griots accept normal backing plates? -Which, in your opinion is the best? Any suggestions and comments are appreciated!
I thought about upgrading as well. Seems like the Flex would give you the best correcting power. The downside is that you are limited to 6.5" pads unless you use the Edge pads/adapater. You could use the PC with 4" pads and the Flex for everything else. Out of the other machines, it seems like the new Griots is the most powerful and has the best warranty. Apparently it will also accept your PC backing plates, though I can't confirm that myself. Here is a breakdown of some of the other machines.
