With all the questions between the two products, I decided to talk to someone with Swissvax. Heres the difference, well atleast according to this guy.

    Here is the email:

My name is Lance M*****. I have been using your products and have been
extremely pleased with them. I have one question though. Is there a
difference between the current European version of Smaragd and the United
States version of Concorso? The product information and discriptions are
    very similar.

    Thank you for your time,
    Lance M*****

    Dear Mr. Mxxxxx

    No, it's the same product.

It's only another naming they wanted in England.

All in all, I still am happy with my purchase. I love how the wax (well concorso) looks and you can never have enough of a great wax. Just wanted to share the info with you guys. I guess the only difference is the color. :mounty:

Isnt smell different as well? I thought Phil also said the texture was different, one being softer than the other.

you cant ALWAYS trust reps at big companies, they dont always know everything.

But according the Swissvax UK, Bos contains 51% of yellow carnauba wax and Concorso contains 50%, and swissvas US saying they are the same wax?? Interesting......

I was told by Swisswax NA that they are different but slightly. Any numbskull can open one up and see it is not just renamed. Different color, smell...That along tells me SOMETHING is different. Companies who decide to name products differently or only offer certian products in certain areas are begging for confusion. Customers will always think what they can't get must be better than what they can.

I understood that Concorso contained oils suitable for older type (i.e. non water-based) paints

I'll have to check which one has a British accent ;)

Good info there Lance, but it all comes down to using it and seeing if it actually does make a difference.

I for one can't wait to put them to good use :thumb: only problem is I'm running out of personal vehicles to use all these waxe's on hahahahaha

This was my understanding as well.

Right, but if you check the US site, concorso has 51% nuba
