Ten bucks for one towel plus shipping seems kind of steep.

I've learned that extremely thick and fluffy MF's are useless, they don't absorb as well and are too grabby on the paint.

Its like wheels. Sooner or later, someone's gonna put out a wheel the size of a wagon wheel.

When is it gonna be too much? Looks like you could loose a branch in that towel.

I'm sure those towels make great pillows.

I tried to convince myself that the thicker towels were better, but I never wanted to use them. :crash:

I'm finding that even the uber no names are even a little too soft and fluffy....

These look like the Viking brand towels at Kmart.

yeah i wont use them for anything really except taking off really soft nubas like my swissvax etc. otherwise they get used for nothing. i would like one in a bath towel size though....

try taking off Bilt Hamber AutoBalm with something ultra plush like an Uber no name. it basically doesnt work and the towel just gets hung up after a few inches.

About the thickest towel I will use is the Cookie Monster and the DG one. I only use them for removing QD's. They're not really useful for much else. They do a good job buffing after QD removal though...I wouldn't be without them.

    Probably guaranteed to lint.

I dont see the draw to these super thick towels. With the exception of doing a light dust off and a few of my drying towels all the MF that I use on the paint is basically thin, short nap. They buff off polish and wax super smooth, dont lint and are actually absorbent for QD'ing and wipedowns.

I find the really thick towels get grabby and dont buff as smooth as a short nap MF.

    Just my opinion

Those look almost like Justin's Shag Rags but way more expensive

I just thick MFs for when I ONR during the drying phase and when i QD when there is a light dust. Other than that I use med to short nap MFs to spread product easier and never use a thick nap for wax/sealant removal as it just is too hard. AB with a thick towel is useless you need a nice short nap MF like Justin's ultra or superfly to get it off easy.

I'm with you guys who say you don't like the impossibly plush ones for product removal. They drag on the surface and bunch up in my hand, making the job into more trouble than it would have been otherwise. The impossibly thick ones in my collection are now reserved for QDs.

My absolute favorites are Justin's Super Fly Towels. They seem perfect. And they last for freaking ever.

I tried them with QD too... kind of a toss up how I feel about using them for QD too...

i like to use these type of towels for lightly wiping down scratch sensitive areas (odometer, stereo face, dvd screen, etc, etc). i don't care for them to remove polish, wax, etc..
