For recommending good reading My last read was Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers, his others are great as well, Tipping Point and Blink
I just recommended this book to another member here: The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield.. I read it for the first time close to 10 years ago, and every2-3 years, i pick it up and read it again. Great book.
Some of the old school political philosophy books are interesting. Try Machiavelli-The Prince. Super-short, but has some interesting concepts in there. Just don't try unify Italy after you're done.
I used to read quite a bit, I enjoyed reading the series of Dragon Lance...but those were the days  Now it's business strategy, Project Management, Strategic growth..:bla2: :bla2:
ya I am the same, funny how that is. If you haven't read Dale Carnegie's stuff, you should definetly read it
