Did you clean the area with apc before you applied the vrt?

Did you use the original or the Super VRT? The older VRT isn't really meant for rainy weather. I'd look into Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant. It works well on rainy weather. You can also check the new Super Vrt, but its pricier.

cleaning surface with APC/Degreaser is important... I had the same problem with BW, but once I prepped the surface properly, the problem went away...

Ya you got to clean the surface really well before you apply dressings, they look better and you will find it lasts a bit longer with the proper prep work

It was their only trim dressing until the super version came out.

I'm using the Super....I'll have to use my APC and reapply and see what happens.

That is really weird. I can apply Super VRT to trim after a regular car wash and it works just fine.

Try re-applying and don't wipe with a MF towel if it rains on it again...just let the water dry up and there shouldn't be any spots or anything.

I will let nature take over next time as well and see what happens....i'm going to post a pic around noon as what it looks like now, i haven't checked on it since the spots showed up.
