Got woken up last Sunday morning by the owner of one of the local luxury dealerships because he wanted one of his cars polished up and ready for viewing from a prospective buyer. It was a black 360 Modena, so I thought "What the heck, I'll work on a Ferrari on a Sunday " Not many before/during pics, but lots of afters. Enjoy! Thanks for the comments guys! I'll try to post my next thread as soon as I have some more free time, some of you might enjoy that one too :headbang: Maybe you recognize that garage from this thread? Been doing a fair bit of work at that specific dealership recently, so you're going to see that background a lot!
Ah yes, that's the place...very cool place :worship2: Thanks for sharing and look forward to more details :thumb:
damn! those after pictures are amazing, may i ask what kind of camera do you have the clarity of the photos are insane
You have pretty good memory seeing that I only posted one detail out of that garage, and that was months ago! Thanks!! I occasionally bring a friend's SLR camera with me on exciting detailing jobs, but since I got last minute notice on this job, I only had my Canon point and shoot on me (SD750). You really have to play with the limited settings and figure out what looks the best depending on the lighting. I sometimes take as many as 5 of the same pictures at different exposures just to see what works.
Very nice Terence. Those scratches were crazy! Maybe one day I can come help you on a car there! Hmmmm?
Like I told you over the phone, those scratches were DEEP. Previous owner probably dragged his suitcase on the trunklid or something insane along those lines. I'll give you a heads up the next time I'm detailing a car there, if they stop giving me last minute notice!
