So one day i get a call from Swissvax USA saying that they would like come and observe my work. On the day we had scheduled to meet while i was detailing this E55 AMG, the CEO of Swissvax in Switzerland, Georg Weidmann happened to be in town; so he came along with Peter from Swissvax USA.

So needless to say, at this point i felt "honored" to have them come over and watch me detail a car. When Georg and Peter arrived we spoke about the different products that i use on cars, and about Swissvax products; and shortly thereafter got to working on the car at hand. As we went through the different steps, georg and peter helped me out with a few things, and offered us some different Swissvax products to try out. When it was time to wax the car, we chose to use Swissvax Mystery, and Georg showed me the proper way to apply it using the palms of your hands.

    Well on to the pictures...

First of all, what a beast of an E55. She looks perfect.

Second of all: you had Swissvax USA supervise your detail? It just doesn't get much better than that...

Ankeet just take a taxi! I'm sure the cab fare would be a tiny fraction of what you would spend at the Swissvax store anyway! :giggle:

Upon further reflection Ankeet I was thinking that Swissvax would probably be willing to send their limo over to pick you up for your Swissvax shopping spree if they were aware of your collection! LOL

Nope, I do not detail for a living nor detail any car but mine...I am a engineer and working on supporting an aircraft modification.

How was the critique? Did you learn anything from his visit?

Great looking car, and nice job.

I learned so much! I had no idea the chemical background that goes into their waxes! Georg was explaining to me that they have some sort of tier system when they are formulating a new wax, in which they can fine tune every aspect of the wax like beading, sheeting, drag coefficient, etc...

Very interesting! Would jump at a chance to get some hands-on pointers from Swissvax.
