My family has all BMWs and my brother waxes them using Swissvax Blau-Weiss. Absolutely an amazing wax and I think I like it more than Mirage as it's easier to apply, even though removal is identical. Application of Blau-Weiss is a lot closer to Insignis as it's quite oily, and I love oily waxes. A little bit goes forever.

Source: I own Mirage, Insignis v1 and Insignis v2. Have personally used Blau-Weiss.

My first choice as Piet would agree is Insignis but the last pot just got sold I think and may not be anymore made (dont know of the current plans to make more). Of the current range Blau-Weiss is a good wax but if you can go for it I would go for Concorso as it just a bit more but much better IMO than the "car specific" waxs SV has to offer. If you cant do Concorso I would go with BW. I have used it and is a great wax and decent durability. Shield is another great wax with good durability but does not have the best looks but then again the difference is minimal, you get more of a sheeting action than beading which I like.

One thing with any SV product is little goes a long way and works well IMO. I have used much of there line and own much of the line. Wax wise I have Insignis v1, insignis v2, blau-weiss, shield, endurance pro, concorso, best of show; and much of the product line of SV.

I would get what you want soon before the price increase.

Sheild is also a fantastic wax, up to 6 months on it and looks great on almost every colour. I love it on white and silver.

I would recommend Shield, it truely is one of the best waxes on the market, an the best value for money in the Swissvax range.

I have Onyx, Mirage, Shield, Best of Show and Crystal Rock an my favourite is Shield and Crystal Rock.

First off, Glacier is ONLY FOR WHITE!

Don't use it on another color, it could produce a "Cloudy" Finish, since it has more optical brighteners to make the white "pop".

I truly believe in the Brand-Specific waxes, and im sure Samurai is a great wax. I own Blau-Weiss, Scuderia, Glacier, Shield, Mystery, Concorso, and i've tried Zuffenhausen; and they all work exceptional for each one's respective intended purpose.

I'd go for the Samurai if it's for only your car or another Japanese car. For a general wax i'd go with Shield.

And always remember to use cleaner fluid first!

I can't attest for SV car specific line. But i've worked with Shield, Concorso and Mirage.

For a daily driver your best bet would be Shield hands down! Best value and protection for the buck

Im very interested in your opinion of Endurance, for your application do you use IR lamps ?

Best of Show is very good, and many people think its the best Swissvax wax, personlly i prefer Shield because for the price its hard to beat. I have convinced many people that Shield is outstanding and after trying it they agree.

I can vouch for SV Shield as well, great beading and sheeting properties and it's so easy to work with.

    Kind regards,

I've used just about everything from SV and feel Concorso and Crystal Rock are my go to.

    I have own
Divine, CR, Mystery, Concorso, Shield, Samurai, Finesse, Onyx, Saphir, Mirage, Zuffenhausen, Glacier, Blau Wiess.... did I miss anything.

For me I rather go to a sealant or coating over Shield for durability.

Just curious, why are you limiting yourself to purchasing just Swissvax? I love their products, and love Crystal Rock on my Graphite Gray Evo, but there are a great deal of products out there that offer solid value for money.

to play devils advocate, what makes you think Swissvax is the best? just curious..... I've used their products, and would not personally say they are the best, but that is my opinion and that is based off my needs and the environment my cars live in.

When I look at a LSP, i look at durability, looks and cost, not always in that order. With all the nano coatings out there Its hard for me to want to spend $300.00 on a wax or any product for that matter that will not have durability (proven durability) beyond 6 months......but again this is just me and I am playing the devils advocate.

I think if I was not in a area where it is 115 degrees / 120 and up in my garage, dusty, smoggy I may have a different take on Swissvax products (primarily the waxes, and for me this is any wax really)

I live in what you would call a very "extreme" environment, and wax just does not last longer then a month here........ if that.
