Looks awesome. Let us know how it looks after the first wash.

How do you feel it compares to Z5p?

    Thanks all.

Agentf1 - I really cant see the difference. I hate to be a "hater", but Z-5pro with z-8 is tough to beat. Mystery certainly has its place. Its a serious luxury for a select few.

The surface was prepped with Menzerna 106ff. I just got off a plane last night and applied Mystery to a clean surface. Maybe on a better paint job on a more glamorous car?

That looks bitchin. There's nothing like a good looking black car. I thought you were giving up on nubas though?

IDK... I think Wolfpackers Jeep had a better look with the Rubbish boys wax... You asked, so please don't be offended.

By all means it looks good, but that Jeep was great

This was the job that made me say that. This looks like Z-5pro under Z-8.

If I throw in the Photoshop tricks, it looks like a reflector. If I drive it in the street next to the dirty Audi A-8 while leaving the train station, it looks like a clean car.

    PREP, PREP, PREP

yes, you are right... it's a carwash, but i know alot of time and effort goes into it. I didn't want to belittle your manual work, but comment on the wax itself

    GBS Wax on..Wax off

Although it looks very good judging from the pictures I have a hard time spending that much money for a wax. There are a lot of waxes for a fraction of the cost that look very good. I have been considering purchasing some Consorso but it's hard to justify. It's not that I have a problem spending money on my car. If I thought it would make noticable difference I would spend it in a heartbeat. On detailersdomain Consorso is $239 compared to Mystery at $579. It would be real hard for me to justify buying Mystery at that price. Anyway those are my thoughts on the wax.

jasteck, after using it what did you think about the wax ?

I have Concorso, Natty's Blue, Souveran, Meg's #26, and Mystery.

I wasnt happy with the removal. Maybe the removal goes easier if I melt the wax in my bare hands for application? The biggest issue was the microfiber towels "pullling" on the dried wax. I saw white "specks" all over the finish afterwards. I had to use water and a low nap microfiber to remove.

The scent is UNREAL. Its softer then Concorso, which also has the "specks" post drying. I applied with a foam pad lightly spritzed with water.

  19. how long did you let it cure for ?
