Do you have to use this product prior to using Swissvax? I understand that Swissvax recommends prior to using their wax but I am merely going to use their wax as a topper on Menz FMJ.

  2. No, it's not necessary. I used it once, and it smelled like woodchips from a playground to me . I couldn't stand the scent alone, so I sold it.

I didn't think it was necessary but you never know. Thanks

if you are topping off a sealant with a carnauba wax, cleaner fluid is not necessary.

I do however feel that after a full paint correction the cleaner fluid will remove and clean up the surface for the Swissvax to be applied.

Dodo juice lime prime lime lite and cg vertua bond are good alternatives for me. I wash the car in a alcalic degreaser after paint correction.

I dislike cleaner fluid. It's too hard to put on and remove. LPL is a better alternative.

I actually quite like this stuff. I use the Medium Cleaner Fluid, and keep it handy in the trunk along with the quick-detailer in case of emergency, such as bird cr@p.

It's not a necessity to use before any wax, but does make it quite alot easier to apply the wax as it leaves an oily-type residue to glide the wax over.

    Just my two-penny-worth :thumb:
