Hi, I have a new mercedes to detail for the first time. Newbie question and need your help. Thanks. After washing and claying with pinnacle ultra poly clay bar, I plan to use Swissvax regular cleaner fluid to treat the paint for a perfectly clean surface. Afterwards, I will put rejex sealant to the silver paint for protection. My qestion is after SV cleaner fluid, do I need to do IPA wipe or appply sealant directly w/o IPA? According to SV, the cleaner fluid contains highly polishing oil, and really confused if needed to IPA wipe for better bonding of the rejex sealant? Thanks a lot. :applause:
I wouldn't waste time/product appying SV cleaner fluid. It is oily and meant to be used in conjunction with a carnauba wax, not a sealant. You will need finish to be squeeky clean for a sealant to bond properly and max durability.
