I've been pretty inactive around here recently, too busy at school studying to take some time to get back on and read about all the new products/information! Anyways, I just realized tonight when I was driving that I have swirl marks on the inside of the glass. No big problem for the driver/passenger side windows, I can take care of those no problem. But what concerns me are the swirls that are on my rear window with the defroster lines. I doubt that there is a way to get rid of them without damaging the lines, but it will drive me crazy seeing swirls whenever a car is behind me at night. I have no idea how they got there and I'm 100% certain they are on the inside of the window, I checked multiple times from different angles inside and out. My questions is whether there is anything I could do to them? Filler? Or is it just something I must live with (that is unless I decide to replace the rear window but as a student I don't have that $$$)
Many body shop supply vendors stock 1/4" masking tape. You can utilize this to mask the wire grid on your aft windshield. Despite many wholehearted efforts to polish glass; I have yet to successfully correct any defects. I have noticed a subtle improvement in clarity; however, this benefit is almost negligible. I'm not familiar with a specific product which effectively fills defects on glass surfaces. My advise is to seek the services of a professional who is intimately familiar with glass replacement and repair or simply live with the problem.
