    Hi guys,

Other than clear coating an entire panel, is there any way to permanently remove swirl mark holograms caused by what I believe to have been a power wheel that was used to remove “fisheyes” and/or “orange peel” after body work?

A dealership detailer said “glaze”, but I've researched same and it seems to be temporary!? And a body shop writer said they would “wet sand”, but wouldn’t this cause more damage?

The marks are located from my driver’s side A pillar through my C pillar and on the driver’s side rear quarter panel, and I’d say they are moderate in depth / damage.

Otherwise, people online have told me I need to find a detailer who does “Paint Correction”. If true, does anyone know of a good detailer near the Five Towns (Hewlett, Woodmere, Cedarhurst, Lawrence...) on Long Island?

    Thanks!

Just replied in your other thread. To add, wet sanding is not required ordinarily for normal defects, we use it more for reducing orange peel or locally on rds before paint correction. It is correction you require. Take it to a local pro that is recommended to you on here
