I got this detail from a referral from a customer I did 3 details for a few months ago. This is his old truck that he sold to the guy in October. I can’t believe he sold this truck to get what he’s currently driving. The 10 mpg probably helped make his decision. I sure wish I had a truck like this to drive on the weekends. The color scheme is one of my favorites. Anyways on to process and pics:

    Exterior Process:
Wash via foam gun w/ NXT and Schmitt

    Degrease tires w/ Awesome Cleaner

Clay w/ Megs white clay using NXT suds for lube

    Dry w/ Guzzler

Polish paint w/ 106/RMG (thanks wolfpacker) via
FLEX w/ LC white pad. I spread it on speed
2 and worked it on speed 5.

Protected paint w/ acrylic Blitz (thanks again
    wolfpacker) This stuff is awesome!!!

Tires, wells, and trim dressed w/ Meg Hyper
Dressing via paint spray gun and air
    compressor.

    Interior Process:
    Vacuum w/ Rigid

    Folex on spots

Malco Clean and Shine on dash and door panels

Duragloss Leather cleaner and conditioner on
    Seats.

Surf City on glass (best cleaner PERIOD!!!)

Pictures: (I only took a few because of time restraints. I don’t know how you guys can take 50 pics of each detail).

Man that truck looks AMAZING!! Glad you liked the RMG and Blitz. Man I think Blitz is highly underrated product and I love the look it gives. You are so right on that color scheme! Wow Shady you did some awesoem work there as always. The paint looks to be dripping wet! And just look at that reflection, ha guess thats why you chose the name you did huh!

Dont understand why you used 106 w/ RMG?

    It keeps 106 from dusting.

I understand thats the purpose of adding it. But I still dont understand. I think you might want to do a couple ISO wipe downs, especially using a combo like that. I do it with 106 alone, you might be surprised. Just suggestion though, thats all.

I know Blitz is a great product, but I just dont like the sealant look!

However, JS is ONE sealant I can deal with. Still gives a slight carnauba look.

Blitz is the one product that everyone loves from CG that I personally dont really use!

25% RMG is not enough to do any filling, the only thing it would fill is the really slight marring which a rotary has no problem in removing.

I have done ISO wipedowns and found no fills in action.

Thats why I said he MAY be surprised. Doesnt matter if the rotary can remove it easily, if you arent doing a wipe down then you wont see it and it wont be fixed. Better safe then sorry!

That's a very nice truck, man that's a wicked lift kit and the tires look great.

Always enjoy seeing your details, thank you for sharing..truck looks great :thumb:

Keep them coming...oh as for the pictures man when you got a time restriction it's hard to take pictures so don't worry about it...I personaly only detail on the side and can afford to take pictures as I do but if I was doing it full time it would be a different story. Don't worry about the pictures :thumb:

Very nice work Shady, the paint is GORGEOUS! What did you use on the wheels to polish the chrome lips?
