Well, This car belong to one of my youth group member, which is a rare case, becasue the owner was thrilled to learn about detailing...and he just got this car not long ago, and ask me how to keep the car looking great..i told him you need to put wax onthe car! otherwise, the car will turn into yellow, becasue of the UV Ray...and other things. The owner have no idea, what is going to be, so i ask him to come and help me,and he is excited to do detail, i just hope every customer just like him..... The car have some tar deposit and lot of tree sap , and my clay bar was so contaminants,it went into the trash, and the owner was shock,what the clay can do and pick up...after we washed,and i told him...go ahead to slide the clay over the hood, and when he saw what is picked up..he was amazed! I pass ed to him a open sercet of us ,professtional detailer, i told him, the clay bar create a Slick surface..and it held the wax much longer And it was quite nice that the car has only done 40K Miles. Well..it took 10 Hours (9:00am-6:00pm), and We finish the exterior, Wipe down the interior and vacumed Wash Mothers Car Wash Dry with Water Blade & The Absober Mini Wheels Simple Green APC Swissvax Wheel Brush Purple Power APC Meg's Natural Shine for dressing Engine Wash with Simple Green APC Dress with Meg's Natural Shine Paint Used Turtle Wax ICE Clay Bar system..( It works Great!..i thoght the clay bar was wax...until i discover you need to make the car wet, before it can be seen and used) Use Zymol Cleaner wax to prep LSP P21S Concours Wax (the owner was shocked again for the price of the wax and he just quite a lot on the car, after i discovered ...half of the can wax gone! Trim Mothers Back to Black on the Tirm Swissvax Mtal Polish on Chrome and Grill Interior Wipe down with APC Plastic was treated with Meg's Natural Dressing 1Z Glass Polish Sorry not much Before Picture, as i am rushing to finish as much as i can Before After Clay and wash After and final shot Thanks and Please Comments:worship2:
not exactly 1/2 , but almost, because the owner was thinking....more wax....much better..but he pay the price...when he removing the wax.....it is hard as rock...
Great turnaround!! Ouch on that half a tub of P21s.Heres a good idea for you for next time. Try Duragloss 105 on white as it looks great and if the owner wants half a bottle it will cost you a lot less!!!
