So this was my first time using this wax. I have applied it to a panel that had previously been waxed before just out of curiosity, but I did a full car prep for this application. First let me say this wax is UNBELIEVABLE. It was a bit stubborn getting on the applicator pad, and it is quite evident it is more of a mildly soft wax, than a true soft wax. The look that it gave though was just unexpected, and incredible! Removal was a breeze, so that kind of compensated for the semi difficult application. Owning over 15 "high end" LSP's now I am starting to notice some little differences here and there, and the look that SN gave is just a true Carnauba look that cannot be replicated by a sealant. When I first applied it, I wasn't all too impressed with the slickness, but what I'm coming to realize is that most LSP's come to life a few minutes after initial wiping. About 5-10 minutes after removal the surface became impressively slick. This is without a shadow of a doubt my new favorite LSP, the only down side to it is the application. Maybe there is a learning curve? Though it is no way near as finicky as my RBOE, but in a way it reminded me of it. The best way to describe it, is dry? I don't know, perhaps the top layers solvents had dried out and the wax will get easier to apply with time? The extra effort is well worth it in my opinion though. The reflections were amazing, and it didn't mute flakes at all. Unfortunately though it is a dust magnet, and no my car looks like a giant piece of pollen, guess that means I'll just have to wash it tomorrow! Thank you! I'll post some more tomorrow, I was short on time, and the thing is full of pollen now. Perhaps another layer may be in order?
I too noticed that V2 is hard to get on the applicator. I actually like SN V1 better for its application. Haven't really compared durability or looks between the two.
I'm not an expert but I use a hair dryer/heater to heat up the pot of SN and getting it on the applicator is a bit easier. Hope that helps.
I just used the damp applicators from my AG HD wax, since it came with two, so I used the other one for my SN V2. I never really experienced any difficulty applying or removing, so I was quite surprised hearing this. Maybe try misting some DI water on the applicator before you apply?
gahh if only your M3 were a genuine CSL :shead: Jon, tbh i didnt find supernatural all that special.....but i think i need to give it a proper go rather than just a panel test
Thank you :applause2: We'll see how the pricing is when they come over....hopefully I'll be able to afford one...that and lets hope performance is special too Ya, I felt the same way, but I truly can say this is up there with my Insignis. Though my Insignis beaded forever and it was much easier to use, but we'll see how this holds up.
I recently order a small 30ml Supernatural pot from eshine. First time I can really say I see a difference in a wax. The shine is there and it's super SUPER slick.
i just got my supernatural in today and its all cracked, i was told this is normal and supernatural does it all the time? why is this? has this happened to others? thanks
