Figured I'd throw this one out there and see what the gang has to say about it...

    Thoughts? Experiences? Pictures?

I used nothing but SRP and EGP from Autoglym for about 13 years. Both are excellent products. I would always follow SRP with at least one coat of EGP as the fillers in SRP wash away quickly without the sealant. The protection will still be there, but alot of the stuff it originally hid will reappear. SRP has cleaners in it as well so as a one step, it works well.

I'm thinking about giving this stuff a shot on the rotary.

I've had it on the shelf for a while now... sampled it by hand and wasn't really overly impressed (comparing it to Klasse AIO) :hmph:

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind trying the Klasse on the ole' rotary either

DON`T USE IT ON YOUR ROTARY!!

its a hand product with no correcting ability. It will dry out in a second.

If you want to try. Take a very soft pad on LOW speed.

I was thinking about doing this + misting the pad with water to keep product from drying up

I have tried it on the rotary as I've heard alot of guys do but didn't like applying it that way. I would agree with PIREX and use a soft pad (Green would work well as its made for AIO's) and keep the speed LOOOOOOOW!
Let me know how it goes.

Had same thoughts as you previously so I have tried it on a white car(full of black spot) with my makita a few days back. I think it is not suitable for rotary as i needed alot passes and product to clear slight sratches, in the end, rather use AG bodywork paint renovator to do the job and use SRP by hand for finishing to save time.

Although it has cleaner substance, it is very ineffective for tar spot. Autoglym stuff told to apply AG tar remover on the whole car first and without removing the tar remover on the car, just continue and use AG renovator or AG #03 with my makita. Then use damp cloth to apply SRP and simply wipe off after haze.

Anyone ever tried SRP as a LSP on black???

    Does it introduce micromarring?
