Hi everyone. Today i had a brand new Subaru BRZ to work on that is owned by AG member Kohlii. This vehicle was scheduled for a new car prep detail and Opti Coat 2.0 application. Due to weather that was suppose to come in this afternoon, I didn't take any time to take before pictures just in case it ended up taking me longer than I expected.

In all honesty it was actually fairly clean, except for some bug guts on the from bumper and some brake dust on the wheels. I'm going to just run through what I did really quick and then let you see the final outcome.

First I cleaned the wheels with Autoglym CWC, and cleaned the tires and wheel wells with Optimum Power Clean at 3:1. The wheels were coated with OC, the tires dressed with Hyper Dressing, and the wells dressed with Sonus Trim and Tire Kote.

The exterior was foamed, and then washed with Hyper Wash and a Griots MF Wash Pad. Next I applied Wolfs Decon gel followed by a light claying with Riccardo Yellow clay to remove the slight bonded contaminants from the paint. There was very little marring so we decided not to do any correction. When I say very little i mean that it was 90%+ free of swirls and marring. Here is how it looked in the sun.

Next the paint was wiped down with Eraser and then the OC 2.0 was applied. Finally the glass was cleaned with Meguiars Glass Cleaner, the exhaust tips were polished with Collinite metal polish, and the trim was also coated with OC. Here is how it all turned out.

That about does it. I enjoyed working on this car a lot. I have never seen one up close and thought it had a very unique, yet pleasing look. I also love the color on it. It has tons of pearl that just looks amazing in the sun, but then turns almost black in the shade and gives some amazing reflections. I would say that Subaru did a great job with this vehicle!

Thanks for looking, and I look forward to your feedback!
