My back is aching and my little stool isn't doing the job. It doesn't go low enough nor does it go high enough. I feel like i'm being inefficient getting on and off the stool when doing the upper and lower body panels. There has to be a better why.

Any suggestions as to what stool and what stool do you use? or if I should even be using a stool.

    :help:

    Thanks in advance,

    Nick

I don't use a stool, I just crouch down. I have to take breaks though. I can't imagine how amazing it would be to work with a lift. Everything would be on your level. Too bad they cost like 7 grand though. Then again, some people spend that on a wax.

I'm trying to avoid the idea of a lift regardless of how tempting it maybe. It just doesn't fit into the scheme of things right now.

    :)

    Any other suggestions?

Maybe one of those office chairs with an adjustable height? It might be kinda awkward though... And it might slam into the finish.

I take a break every hour and sit in a massage chair, that does the trick for me haha.

I have the 89.00 one. It's ok but it could be better with five wheels instead of four on a concrete floor...Just my 2cents...

I have the same one that was on sale at Sears. (Bought mine at Crappy Tire). It is great for everything except for wheels. What I also like is that I keep my spur and nail brush on the tray at hte bottom for cleaning the pads.
For the wheels, i use a plastic one that came wiht a writing desk for the kids that they no longer use.

I got my stool at wal-mart for $20. Its pneumatic. It gets down pretty low. My partner at work use to make fun of me for using it until he used it on his big ass F-150 ext cab. He never joked about it after that.

I use a 24x24 piece of soft foam. I can kneel on it for long periods of time without any problem. It allows me to get to the lower panels without having to bend over.
