    So I'm looking at steamers.

The TR-5 Pro here looks nice and seems pretty affordable.

Any other in this range you can think of that don't suck? I believe the VX5500 comes highly recommended as well, but this is cheaper and smaller.

I'm hungover, use small words and easy to find links, LOL.

I have the Gaia from them and it's over 2 years old and has been great. In fact, I was at my father-in-law's store today cleaning his carpets with it. I still love the machine.

I have the vx5000 and it is a terrific steamer. I steam clean wheels and everything comes off if you put a little meqs super degreaser on first and quickly steam the wheels and I am talking really tar caked rims. on average every day rims I usually with give a quick spray of p21s wheel cleaner and just go around steaming with lots of moister and everything slides right off without a fight.

let me know how it goes

I have that Tr-5 and had a Desidero. The Desidero extractor is sub-par for detailing use.

The Tr-5 is an awesome machine, I find more uses for it in my house than with detailing.

4 years, no issues to report.

Use it to steam compound out of cracks and jambs. Be careful of repainted panels though!

As a steamer, the TR-5 is good enough for detailing, yes? I'm trying to stay away from an extractor for now.

I'm rocking the VX5000, honestly don't know how I detailed without it and would recommend it to anyone. I've used it on roughly 10 details so far without even a hint of an issue.

I'm glad I have an extractor, I love using the steamer to remove stains from the carpet and knock everything loose, then I follow up with the extractor and it pulls out all sorts of dirt...

I'm actually looking to pick up a steamer sometime this year to replace my SteamFast SF-275. I want a unit that's more suitable for the commercial grade.

Steamer is on my wish-list after I buy a PC and more pads/polishes. Hopefully in the next few months!!
