Well with the approval of my business plan, I'm going to make a run at the mobile detailing business this summer. Thanks to this forum I was able to find a list of products that do their jobs well. I've spent countless hours researching here, and now...quite a bit of money. Thanks to Ken auto autowerkes exclusive for all the help and advice. I got a few things from Chris at eshine.ca, too. Very nice collection. Always a good idea to keep an extra PC wrench on hand. Mine always seems to disappear.

Solid setup ya got there buddy! ! One thing though ... get rid of the Mother's Back-to-Black. There are a lot of products better than that crap ... I can't stand how it stains the paint after it rains. The duragloss one is a really decent one.
I have tried it on a few things and haven't seen ONE thing that it works on as advertised. it should go in the dumpster, and you just confirmed it. thank you. P1et...I've got some "world's best wax" concours....I hear it's relabelled victoria wax concours. does that qualify as "nice" enough for you? I was thinking some AG HD wax in the future if people want some "nice" wax. They've got to pay for it though, and I doubt they'll be displeased with the appearance and durability of the colli. I am a little interested in getting some good sealant like powerlock and topping it with a nice wax for my own car, but I'm not sure if it's going to help me with my target market. Do you recommend having a couple of waxes for people to choose from? I plan on using the collinite 845 for most jobs. I'll expand my polishing arsenal based on that types of jobs I need to tackle...
Solid start there. I recommend you pick up a few more Menzerna polishes to complete the line-up. John
I didn't mean to attack your collection. I still own a bottle of Back-to-Black, but I tend to use Black Wow now.

Use the Colli for everything. Top with AG Hi Def if you want a nuba. It looks great, has great durability and is inexpensive. Remember to keep it simple. Too many guys, myself included, make things complicated by having products for every colour under the sun. Colli looks good on everything as does the Hi Def. Done. As for polishes, only one you need to add is maybe Power Gloss for deeper RDS. Power Finish finishes down as nice as 106FA and the difference between PF and 85RD is minimal. The average client will never see the difference. Keep it simple.
Ken, everything you've told me about 845 has been about how great it is. Infact, after everything I have read on the forum, I haven't heard one negative comment about it. It looks great, it's cheap, durable and can be applied by machine. How is there even a market for the more expensive products??
