So I'm thinking about the possibility of getting a gallon jug of spray wax to use as a maintenance use product. I'm looking at the following 4 products.

    1. Meguiar's X-Press wax. Is this a spray type product? I haven't found any write up or product description that says spray or thick liquid. If it's not I'll drop it from the list as I've already got Meg's #26

Cost $29.99 but on sale from AG at $19.99/gal

    2. Poorboy's QW+ - I've had good results with their products to date
    Cost $45.95/gallon

    3. DG Aquawax - I've seen this product mentioned more and more in the last couple weeks.
$32.99/gallon, advantage to this product is I can drive down to the plant and pick it up (I live within 15 miles of the plant)

    4. Griot's Garage Spray on Wax - $34.99/gallon

Thought's on what might be better then another product? They are all about the same price except for the Poorboy's stuff, which is a shame because the products that I've used so far from them have been great just not sure if this is worth the extra $$.

Anyhow thank you for your thoughts and comments on these products.

aqua wax by far. ken at autowerks sold me some and said i would buy a gallon later. he was absolutely right. makes my fk 425 pale in comparison. very smooth finish and glossy. can be applied before drying after wash but i use it as a detailer mostly. believe it is on sale at autogeek right now. check it out

I have been using Optimum Car Wax as the one and only LSP for my parents' vehicles and our Honda Pilot and it has been working very well....maintains max durability for several washes.

I ordered DG Aquawax from AG as per the current BOGO sale and I actually really love it. Used it as a drying aid after washing my car and the Pilot over the week-end and I was very happy with the results. It's extremely streak-free on glass which is not always the case for Optimum Car Wax.

No clue which one is more durable as they both claim to be highly durable waxes and they both can be used on a dry vehicle or as a drying aid.

I forgot about Optimum, price per gallon is right in between the products I mentioned.

Might have to get a gallon of OSW and a BOGO Aquawax.

    Come on payday LOL

Another vote for Optimum. You can't beat the results and ease of use for the price.

Four Star has a nice spray wax too, the Polycharged version. I have OCW in my arsenal too, and SCG Speed Demon. That's all i have for spray waxes, all of them are very nice, but the SCG Speed Demon is not as slick to the touch. The SCG Speed Demon is very good for wheels after applying wheel sealant, keeps the dust off for a while.

Duragloss Aquawax is my favorite by far, however Pinnacle XMT Spray Wax comes very close as well. DG has durability of 4-6 weeks on its own which is very impressive considering it is easier to use than many of my quick detailers. I have tried many spray waxes and think that the two mentioned have been consistently the best, but you cannot go wrong with any of the products mentioned.

You can use OCW on a wet car, too. You can also use it to dry the vehicle during an ONR wash.

optimum spray wax is amazing . Shines like crazy and smooth as butter . Easiest spray wax iv ever used as well . i couldnt even put a towel on my car cause it would just slide right off. I use it while cars still wet or dry.no streaks whatsoever and metallics and pearl pop more than any wax iv ever used .Durability i would say is a few weeks .Also no static like some and doesnt stain trim . What more could you ask for out of a spray wax

To those that use ocw on a wet vehicle... Do you think it's going to be more durable if you spray it on a dry vehicle ?
