i was wondering why spot free water is not spot free. i currently buy my water but in the past ive bought the filters and also rented them, none of them however have been 100% spot free and what i mean by spot free is i would love to be able to rinse the vehicle and just walk away. i also have tested the water for purity and its as pure as can be so whats the deal is it the soap im using i cant figure it out??

You have to take in account for the debris in the air we can not even see that gets caught in the water.

When you say you tested did you to a total dissolved test and did it come up as zero?

If there are no dissolved solids and the car was washed, thus no dirt on the surface, once the water evaps it should not leave anything behind. It does seem pretty odd...hmmm....

Would not think it could contaminate the water that fast or in that quantity, I have read of alot of people that let there car dry when using 0ppm water...But, I do see were you are getting at.

I wasn't trying to say it would make bad water spots but would help make light ones. It doesn't take much for water spots to gather debris from the air even with a slight wind. I wouldn't even go as far as saying that is what it is, just a thought and a possible culprit to his problem.

i must add that it doesnt leave bad water spots, very slight they kind you can go over with your towel and wipe away. but still why do they call it spot free water if it still leaves something?
