So, what do you guys suggest for a spot buffer? I have a 2-7/8 BP and a full set of 4" Uber pads, a 4" black CCS pad and a 3.5" foamed wool pad. I found I can't use the BP on my FLEX DA, so what is a good buffer to use this stuff on? I guess I will have 3 machines soon..lol

You could order the 3M flex adapter...50 bucks and you can use edge pads. Also AG just started carrying Griot's stuff, they have a really small buffer.

Hell, I can drive over to Griot's Garage, they are in Tacoma. I may check that out.

Well you already have a Flex... I duno man. I have a PC which I can use. You have a rotary now right? Maybe sell the Flex DA, get a PC.

I would consider running the small BP and pads with your 3403, and if changing BPs all the time is too much of a hassle, pick up a second rotary (9227, Metabo, Dynabrade, or if staying with the Flex theme, perhaps the beefier 603 one).

I went to give an estimate on a vette this past weekend and the guy had one of those things. It has no balls at all, the only thing I see using it for is if you like to apply your lsp with a machine, other than that it is much good for anything else.

I would spring the the correct backing plate if I was you. So it might take a min to change it out..but having that power there if needed would be a big plus!
