I was contacted by this customer a couple weeks ago after he took delivery of his black '14 Tesla Model S P85+. He was interested in PPF and Opti Coat so after a brief email exchange regarding the required prep, I got him on the books. The car showed up with relatively minor defects, some light swirling and a few RIDS here and there but nothing too serious. I was able to one step it with Primer Polish and that got rid of most everything, some compound was required on the deeper stuff. We applied Suntek self healing PPF to the entire front end, A pillars, painted area above the windshield, in front of the rear wheel wells, and the entire rear bumper. The owner opted for the upgraded wheels (these things are NICE!) and wanted to protect them, so I hit them with Primer Polish and coated them too.
