Well guys, I finally had a chance to try out both of the stinkiest products on the market. I apologize for the crappy pics. These rims have not been cleaned in a 6 weeks. They were coated with 2 coats of PB wheel sealant the last time they were touched. I didn't spray water before applying both products. I LIGHTLY AGITATED both products to get the results that I wanted, but keep in mind that I didn't use my pressure washer for removal. The winner of this personal test is Sonax. Iron Cut (IC) did an OK job, but I don't believe it was designed to be a wheel cleaner in the first place. IC has a watery consistency and it somewhat struggled to cling to the rim. I had to perform two IC applications to get the results of 1 Sonax application. IC did turn purple immediately indicating that it works as described. Sonax is thick and it didn't have any issues clinging to the rim. On a side note, I did try IC on one of my body panels and its consistency is ideal for body panels (worked great BTW). I'll be documenting an IC decontamination I have scheduled for next week. BTW ... both products smell terrible, but the Sonax smell lingers longer than the IC smell. Dirty rims ... Sonax working ... Iron Cut working ... IC rim after (2 applications) Sonax rim after (1 application)
where is everyone getting iron cut from? i want to try it out since i dont want to have to buy a decon kit
Thanks for the reviews I want IC for paint decontamination. Sonax looks like a great product lil pricey for my wallett I may try Flash wheel cleaner
I decontaminated my car an hour ago and I'm claying right now. I'm not picking any rust particles, just a few tar spots. I haven't clayed this car since last Nov. and we had a nasty winter here. You should have seen the water on the ground as I was flushing IC. It was dark purple. I'm really impressed with IC.
Will post my own review of Flash Brown Royal in the next couple weeks to compare to my review of Sonax. I'm moving from MD to KS next week, so it should rack up some good build up until I can really detail the car again.

I don't think so ... I just think it was really formulated for paint. After using IC, I clayed the car and I only had to fold the clay once on a large sized vehicle.
You can email and they'll send you an invoice. I think I posted the prices here 500ml ($19.99) and the 1L bottle is (35.99). Great customer service btw. Or you can contact Aquartz directly.
