Anyone use this product, how is it compared to Opt Car Wax. Had a sample of Opt Car Wax and looking to get something to use after car washes to keep the wax going and was going to get OCW then remembered Sonax had something out as well. Just like to hear some opinions on HSW.
I have it and have been using it lately. Super easy to use. The look is definitely carnauba. The only issue I have with it is that dust seems to stick to it. My shop is in an area that is quite dusty and even right after applying the Speed wax, the dust doesn't blow off when I drive,
SW20 leaves a shinier, slicker finish. Similar to DG Aquawax whereas SW leaves a deeper, carnauba look.
I love the High Speed Wax, probably my favorite spray wax. You can tell it actually leaves some protection behind, and a nice shine.
OCW falls between the two in terms of looks Ank. SW20 is the shiniest followed by OCW and then Speed Wax. Speed Wax is the easiest to apply of the three although none of them are hard to use.
The products are comperable, but Sonax has probably one of the best misting sprayers in the industry, and the product is a little thicker than the OCW. Both will do a good job for you. John
I just tried this speed wax. It was actually surprisingly difficult to buff off, but I believe this could be my water filter going out, leaving some hard water film on the car. The beading on this was absolutely amazing.
I would urge you to try again after changing the filters. I found it to be extremely easy to use. I got around my Passat wagon in under 10 minutes.
