Red Bull Racing Formula One Team sparkles with Sonax

Red Bull Racing, the team of Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel, has joined forces with Sonax, the leading manufacturer of car care products.

Red Bull Racing ended the 2011 season as Formula One World Champions and the No. 1 in the top league of motorsport. Sonax is Germany’s No. 1 car care brand and a leading worldwide manufacturer. Identifying similarities, the two brands agreed on an on-going partnership and Sonax is now an Official Supplier to Red Bull Racing. The car care specialist will work to ensure the cars of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber look pristine ahead of every Formula One race.

Premium products and partnerships with top international motorsport teams, such as Red Bull Racing, have helped Sonax achieve a solid worldwide reputation. For the past nine years it has been an Official Supplier to Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and by agreeing this new partnership with Red Bull Racing, Sonax continues its commitment to Formula One.

“We are looking forward to cooperating with Red Bull Racing,” says Manfred Hoffmann, Owner and Managing Director of Sonax GmbH. “We have more in common than simply a passion for motorsports and cars. Red Bull’s lifestyle character and innovative strength inspires young target groups, which will be the main focus of Sonax’s communications as well. The partnership with Red Bull Racing will bring the brand closer to young fans. Sonax enjoys great popularity among motorsport fans who intensively care for their cars,” explained Manfred Hoffmann. “However, cooperation between the No. 1 in motorsports and the No. 1 in car care will help loyal and potential Sonax customers among motorsport fans to trust the right brand.”

Sonax will focus its marketing communications on the new partnership and use it in advertisement, promotional and PR activities. In future, the World Champion’s racing cars will upgrade Sonax’s advertising campaigns and give the brand a distinctive appearance. In addition, the car care specialist will adopt typical Red Bull Racing design elements in its displays, competitions, sales documents, online activities and merchandising programme.

Good to hear that Red Bull is going to use SONAX - McLaren Mercedes has been using the same product for several years.
A great finish and ending to the F-1 season this Sunday past ! Congratulations to Mark Webber on his P1 finish (finally), and Sebastian Vettel on his P2 finish !
Red Bull RULES the 2011 F-1 Season !

    Hey Austin, Texas --
Is it true that the contract negotiations between that little twerp Bernie Ecclestone and the F-1 Track people in Austin has broken down??
That will be so sad if it does and the track there does not get built. We were planning on attending for sure. Have a relative who works for ESPN there and gets tickets for everything ! :)

Statement Regarding Circuit of The Americas Contract with Formula 1

AUSTIN, Texas – November 17, 2011 – Organizers of Circuit of The Americas are responding to reported statements in the media by Bernie Ecclestone as follows:

“We have been excited for and working towards a 2012 USGP race and now understand that Mr. Ecclestone is interested in moving the Austin race to 2013,” stated Steve Sexton, president of Circuit of The Americas. “We know the U.S. market is important to the teams and their sponsors and 2013 certainly allows time for the Circuit of The Americas to be ready.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Circuit of The Americas™ Ready to Pay Sanctioning Fee and Offering More
Proposal Satisfies 2012 Request, Accelerates Payments for Subsequent Years

AUSTIN, Texas – November 24, 2011 – Circuit of The Americas has responded to Formula One Management’s contract requirements by agreeing to an immediate cash payment of the sanctioning fee for the 2012 United States Grand Prix (USGP). In addition, Circuit of The Americas has offered to establish an advance payment schedule for USGP races beyond 2012.
The offer comes after several weeks of talks, and once accepted, will secure the USGP on the Formula 1 race calendar.

“We have been ready to send Mr. Ecclestone a sanctioning fee check for some time now,” said Bobby Epstein, founding partner of Circuit of The Americas. “He hasn’t received it yet because the new contract presented to us two weeks ago contained unrealistic and unfeasible demands. We have signed and returned a contract similar to what we anticipated receiving. This race
should be a reality, but if we are going to make the 2012 race date, we must receive a countersignature in the coming few days. We believe the teams, fans, sponsors and local business share our enthusiasm and hope that their voices will be heard.”

Phil must be selling a boat load of Sonax FE wheel cleaner if they can afford to sponsor Red Bull! :thumb:

The season was great! Now my wife gets to wave her world champion trophy until next March. She won our F1 pool this year staying in first place from race number one. The guys won't let me live this down. lol She'll be happy to hear Sonax is sponsoring her go-to chassis pick.
