Okay. Last week, my father went out into the driveway to retrieve the trash bin. While pulling the thrash bin into the driveway, he ran it straight across the surface of my black Ford Expedition. Ouch!:shead:! So today, I figure that I'm going to take an easy approach to this madness. I found some old OTC stuff that I could use, instead of busting out the ZAINO:headbang:. I also opted to bust out the Wilwaukee rotary and a wool pad. Here's some of the junk I used: -Meguiar's Quick Clean Spray (just needed to wipe the dust off the surface) -Mother's Detailing Clay Bar (Mild) -Mother's Showtime (Used as lube for the clay) -Mother's Carnuba Cleaner Wax -Mark V IP200 (The only non-OTC stuff I used) -Milwaukee 5455 Rotary Polisher -Schlegel #1 Wool Polishing Pad -3M Blue Masking Tape -Four Yellow MF Towels Sorry... I only took before and after pics, no during: :sorry: Here are some befores: Here were the steps: :loud: 1) Mist down fender w/Quick Clean + wipe down 2) Clay w/Mothers Clay using Showtime as lube 3) Dry w/Yellow MF Towel 4) Tape off with 3M Blue Masking Tape 5) 3 Passes w/IP200 with the Milwaukee @ 1200 RPM 6) Buff fender w/Yellow MF Towel 7) Two coats of Mother's Carnuba Cleaner Wax as LSP 8) Final wipe down with Showtime Here is the end result: Notice the palm trees in the background... that's because I live in Hawaii. Gots ta be lovin' it!:hippie: Sorry about the poor quality pictures. My digital camera battery was dead so I had to use my cell phone camera. I also usually do my work in the garage under halogens, but today I had to work outside because the garage was full of junk.:sorry: Thanks for viewing, Shayne
