Fixin to pull the trigger on this one......any comments guys...?

I have 8 drills, sanders, routers, da's, and nibblers, and sawzalls and portabands and portable saws, hammerdrills........so I am pretty loyal to Milwalkee.
They are built like tanks and just plain hold up.

I just noticed I never saw you guys mention them.....I am gonna buy one of these for my rotary polisher.

It looks heavy duty and has a rotary speed dial which is nice. Does it have a locking trigger? That is one feature I could not live without.

I don't own one, but the only real knock I've seen against the Milwaukee is that it's a little heavier than most other rotaries, such as Makita, Hitachi, Metabo (obviously). Otherwise, folks seem to think it's pretty good.

it is HEAVY duty. I have used one. I wouldn't mind owning one, but for the same price you can get a Makita. When I used it I didn't notice it having the same tricks as some of the newer polishers. The newer ones move up the revs if you bog it down, the Milwaukee didnt seem to do it. In Europe they have a really light polisher...but It wont work here.

    Milwaukee Auto Polisher 150mm 1,200watts

    Power input 1200 W

    Disc diameter 150 mm

    No load speed 900 - 2500 rpm

    Spindle thread M 14

    Weight 2.1 kg

    Standard equipment: QUIK-LOK, cable 6 m

I prefer makita, they rarely go into the shop.

sneek, what do you mean it won't work here? Are you referring to the voltage requirement of the polisher?
