Single Stage Paint?

    I am going to be correcting a 1989 Ferrari 328, and I believe it has single stage paint. The paint is in pretty poor conditions with swirls and RID's everywhere. I am planning on using A GG 6" with Uber Yellow and FG400.

    What should I keep in mind when going at it? I have never done single stage.
    Any tips would be helpful.

    Residue management, clean pads frequently at a rate of atleast once per panel.
