HMMM. Like I need another machine. How much does it weigh compared to the makita?

also did you want a 5 .5 inch pad kit plus the 3m backing plate as well.

How well does this compare to a Flex 3403? I've been using one for the last 6 months and I'm looking for a backup or main work horse to switch back and forth with.

The Metabo also has a slower starting speed than the 3403. People love the fact that you can fit the 3403 in tight spaces after you remove the bail handle. What you don't see mentioned is the fact that you can fit the Metabo in even tighter spaces once you remove the ergonomic hand cap, due to its smaller profile.

The metabo is also much quieter than the Flex. Quite happy that I don't need to wear earplugs while using it.

This is a great machine that I got from Phil last year. I use it in tight spots rather than my makita, I just got the gloss it small BP so I can't wait to try it with my small 3m pads I got from carlos!!!!
