why can't all the customers be like this lady. Lady at work has a 2002 Jaguar XJ8. She would marry it if she could. She brought it back from the mechanic the other day and was so happy that they 'detailed' it as well. Of course I had to see how well they did. Approaching the car I noticed the wheels were really shiny; the car wasn't dirty but it didn't look spectacular either. Ok, not bad. I get inside the car and the first thing i see is dust between the seats and centre arm rests. whoa! i thought they detailed it. The dash wasn't spotless either. They might have wiped it with a cloth but nothing more. And judging from the crumbs on the leather seats there was no treatment of any sort on them. I go back inside and ask her about it. It's apparent she can't see beyond the shiny tires and the 'polished' (wiped) chrome trim on the inside. She's happier than you after polishing your ride. I was speechless. On one hand I thought, wow, I can make $300 by wiping her car down with a dirty rag. On the other hand I'm thinking she needs to see what a detailed car looks like. My mission has begun.
