Shelby Mustang Minor paint correction + Autofinesse treatment

    Hey guys

    Its the Shelby again, but this time paint needed a lot of help, but we went with is a minor paint correction to remove 50%+ paint defects, this car had some mods done to it since the last visit, it has carbon fiber aero kit, and interior trims were done in carbon fiber also. Total hrs spend 7 hrs


    Tools

    Rupes 21mm
    Kranzle 1120T
    Metro vac n blow

    Wheels

    Rinse
    Cleaned wheels n tires with various brushes and AG CWC
    Wheels protected with AF tough coat
    Tires dressed with Meg HD 3:1


    Paint

    Rinse
    Foam with CG CWC
    Washed with 2 buckets
    Rinse > clayed
    Blow and towel dry
    IPA wipe down
    Paint corrected with Meg D300/M105/Menz 85rd mixed with MF cutting pad
    Paint cleaned with AF tripple
    LSP AF temptation

    *** Tips on applying AF temptation ***

    Wipe on and wipe off, if its hard to remove, reapply temptation and remove again. Mist distill water and wipe down paint afterwards, Enjoy!

    Tried AF's Temptation on my metalic black mk6 Gti (uncorrected paint) for the 1st time the otherday and wasamazed with the results. Definitely impressed!!! Only one layer was applied and it still popped,anf for the price it gets my approval!!!

    Was that the owner wiping the hood in the picture? Was that one of your towels? Why was he even touching his car after you were done....

    Very nice work, love that color. I just did a Black 11 Shelby GT500 last weekend.

    He wants to have some fun with some Adams detail spray V2! So I gave hime a pink towel to go with the pink detail spray. The shop was closing, or else I would of took the pictures after his done for viewers sake. but Client is super happy.

    Did you used Tripple after polishing to clean the paint?

    Yes sir, AF tripple was used to clean up the paint, so the AF temptation can bond correctly. You don't have to cleanse the paint but it's better if you do it to extend the life of the wax.
