This is a follow up to the post I did about the new sealant in development. I wanted to show how it sheets/beads. In one I'm spraying it with a spray and the other the water is flowing onto the paint. This is my 1st real attempt at a video...bloody camera makes you look fat!! LOL
Wow that looks good richy..thank you for taking the time to share the videos, very much appreciated :applause: I can just imagine the fire trucks with this new sealant :druling: :druling:
I'm hoping that we can help them accelerate the time it takes to get it to market. Jerry doesn't want to be inundated with calls before it's available. I just hope it comes to market as soon as possible! I am truly impressed with this stuff! I put a layer of PS over the RF fender and DR's door today to see if the finish would be wetter or anything. I honestly could not differentiate it from the rest.
its really nice video ... is it new sealant from DG? I wish they will introduce this new stuff soon ... DG had 105, 111, Enviroshield & Trackclaw already ... all are excellent products ... thanks for your sharing Richy
Misha, I did this as an afterthought as I was washing the car the first time after trying this beta sealant. Denzil..don't hold your breath..see above..however, Jerry is working hard on a new product right now that is very promising. Yup..great for summer washing.
cool vids rich. its funny i've been thinking aboug trying my hand at some short videos with my new camera once the spring rolls around. but back on topic...is this enviroshield you're testing? as you know from my other threads, that what my GTI is wearing now, and although the car is almost white from all the road salt on it, it stills beads up pretty darn nice on top of all that crap. when i first got the surface prepped with 85RD and the enviroshield, it downpoured a couple days later, and nothing would stick to my car. i stood in the rain admiring it many different times that night lol. i shoulda took a video... EDIT: check out this thread starting around post #64 for the results it yielded on my GTI
Yes it is. I missed your link? I test sealants in the shower for durability and nothing has done as well as the ES so far, nothing.
I do tend to think outside the box...it IS a very effective testing area however..you'd be surprised at how quickly some fail...js109 went down in flames.
oops sorry seems i forgot to include it: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f20/md-va-nj-de-meet-revisted-12847-7.html
