I thought about doing this as well, but haven't had the time.

I think lifemal and maybe reflect or darkstar have done this.

I've set up a Facebook for my detailing. I don't have a lot of info up on there, but I have some pics posted, some general info and how to contact me. You can always edit or add things later.

Here's mine, I haven't updated it in a while but it gives you an idea of what it looks like. Invite all your friends and when you put up a status it's basically like an announcement to them.

good deal guys . . . . . . i need to set myself up a account as well one of these days. Seems like everyone has turned to the social media network stuff and it's free advertising if you think about it. It just cost a little time to setup and keep updated.

I have lots of friends and everytime I upload a new album I make sure to publish it to my profile. so everybody gets reminded of me. The photo album appears on there news on the homepage of all my personal friends. you never know who's looking over somebodies shoulder at their PC. I have links to it from my kijiji and craigslist ads.

I also have a "find us on facebook" icon on my flyers and business cards. It's been working great for me, it's like a free website!

Here is mine, I'd recommend it as it's a good way for customers to see your work and get in contact with you.

So for a start I have to link my writeups to the page, is there a way to add a facebook direct link to the page? Looks like this will be a fall project for me

Here is mine. I had used a person profile instead of a business page to set up because i like the standard format and i wanted to be able to organize the details by album. This was before business pages were able to be organized better.

First time using FB and I didn't realize how to make a "Business Page"... It is OK I work with another guy so we are just using the normal FB page so he can access it and so can I. I do have a personal page now too...

Working on my fb page next week. I am not a fan of facebook but for business it looks like it has its perks.
