I finally got decent enough weather to do an enhancement detail on my girlfriends Seat Leon, no pic`s at the start as I forgot to charge my camera battery. I started by snow foaming the car and whilst this was working on the car I started on the wheels and arches, as the wheels have already been sealed previously with Jetseal 109 I only had to use Megs Hyper wash and various brushes to get them looking like new, the arches were cleaned using Megs Super Degreaser and a long handled brush, the car and arches were then pressure washed. The car was then washed using the 2 bucket method, Megs Hyper wash and a lambs wool wash mitt. The car was then rinsed using a open ended hose, and dryed using a Uber drying towel and Megs Last Touch as a drying aid. At this point I would usually clay the car but its only been a few weeks since it was done. The wash stage left me with the following. The car was the taped up using 3M blue masking tape ready for machine polishing. I used a Makita rotary polisher, Dodo Lime Prime and 3M black polishing pads. Once the first stage polish was done I then went back over the car using Poorboys Blackhole Show glaze and Serious Performance Cool Finishing pads. LSP was Valet Pro Citrus Bling, giving these results. The exhaust was also giving a quick clean up using 00 grade wire wool and Autosol metal polish. To finish the arches are dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing and tyres with Megs High Gloss tyre gel.
