Sealant Test

    Yup this has been around for a while.

    I think tests done in that type of forum are pointless truthfully. Judging looks based off a a 2x2 area? To be honest you need to a do a whole car with an LSP to get a idea of how it looks in the real world, just my opinion of course.

    Also as far as testing the beading, think about this... if one of those squares placed above another square has a huge sloppy beading LSP product when you spray the panel down that above panels beads with run down the panels underneath it causing a bit of an uneven pattern to judge other products beading ability.

    yea it's definietly a little sketchy, plus just b/c it isn't beading doesn't mean the sealant isn't still there right? I was concerned about what the prep was, I'm sure he didn't use the corresponding cleaners to go with all those products, which I'm sure would have altered the durability.

    would the fact that he buffed them all of with the same towel have any impact? or is the amount of specific product that is going to bond to the finish already bonded at that point.

    I agree...I think that test was done to show that you get most of looks from a prep work, not LSP.
