So here's a challange!! My kids today, in all their infinite wisdom, put a scratch in the front of our new dishwasher. I can catch it with a fingernail. I know the "paint" is probably thin on this, but is there a way to at least reduce how bad it looks? I don't have a pick right now, as I'm at work, but figured maybe someone could help me out on this. Thanks, -Roger.
What brand of dishwasher? What color? model number would be super. I'm guessing you have access to that, since it's new.
I will be watching this thread. I have some surface scractices on the front of my SS refigerator I would like to remove :meditation:
Well... wifey asked me to do the fridge one time, and it looked better than before. Better go with mild polish/compound on the first try though..
If I remember correctly, it's this model: Amana 24 In. Built-In Tall Tub Dishwasher -- WAS $349 - ADB1600AWW at The Home Depot
nice dish washer man. Couldn't you go down and check out some various touch up paints to see if you can find something that would match the paint on that dishwasher? I mean i know some people might say white is white but there are variations of that color. I would say try some touch up paint to fill the scratch in and make it less noticeable. Or see if you can find some where that might have a touch up type pen depending on how thin the scratch is.
