Scheerspeed: VW Jetta De-gunkification

this is my girlfriend's car. as you can see she really doesn't care much about her poor car...

well she went out of town for the week so i decided to surprise her!

products:
-CG Lightning fast
-Simple Green
-P21s TAW
-CG Leather Cleaner
-303 protectant

well... just to say, this car was DISGUSTING on the inside! once i took everything out, there were soda stains and just random stains all in the carpets.

so i took out all the floor mats, and let them soak in CG Lightning fast for about 10 minutes. then scrubbed them with a brush, and rinsed (2 times) and extracted the water with my Wet/Dry.

basically the same for the interior carpets, except i used water in a spray bottle to rinse. also i used some simple green and P21s TAW on stubborn stains.

and i used the CG leather cleaner on all the leather parts and dash.

That is fookin' amazing!!! WOW!!! What I hate the most about interiors of females is how their foundation gets all over the steering wheel and every single button they touch. The good thing is that it's water based, so it comes off, but it's still annoying. Looks like on the radio that you can still see it though...

What did you use to get the steering wheel that clean? I found that an MF with very very warm water usually works great.

Wow quite a turn around to say the least, my girl's car gets about the same way, and when she asks if i will clean it, i say "only if you wont let it get like that again"...so i dont clean her interior very often lol......i am curious at what ratio you used Lightning Fast?

i tried that approach. i got "i don't even care about my car..."

yea, the steering wheels was FULL of it! so were the blinker and windshield wiper handles!
i used CG leather cleaner to take it out.

tell me about it! whenever i would ride in her car before i wanted to take a shower after...

i used about 50/50 lightning fast. i didn't measure it exact.

 

Not to hijack but the label calls for 20:1...i dont use it that way, maybe 12:1 but i was just wondering for really tough stains what dilution you used..so 1:1 eh?

 

If you don't live together you need to so she can move out of her car.Nice job!!! and a super turnaround.
