ScheerSpeed: Revisited Porsche Carrera /cool pics!

    This is the 2nd time i detail this car. The last time was almost 6 months ago. The protection had completely worn off, and there was some water spots all over the car. I initially tried CG waterspot remover to try and remove them, but they didn't budge, so i had to resort to polishing them out. Plus the owner washes the car about 3 times a week, so there was all sorts of marring from washing.

    i started out trying a 50/50 with 106FF and a white CCS, but that didn't completely remove the water spots.

    so i had to resort to more abrasive polishing using a Orange CCS pad and SIP


    For finishing polish i went with 85RD and a blue 3M UltraFina UK pad

    Very nice photography! Great work on the Porsche, must be some well paid firemen that work there. Cannot believe that he washes the Porsche three times a week, wow!

    Real nice detail again. It really did come out nice. when I was young I washed my car 2-3 times a week. No more, I'm old now...

    great job as always.. even in the before pics 1 or 2 looked great.. but the close ups..scary what machine car washes can do.. or someone without the proper knowledge wasting money on stuff that is useless otc style... i was at target home depot and lowes... omg they all suck... to think the idiot i was in hawaii.. omg :doh:

    anyways.. nice job for sure!!!!

    and how long was the detail?

    Nice save, Dominic! What the hell is he washing that with, a garden rake? Finished pics are awesome. How come you get to wear shorts and flip flops to work and I'm in Gore Tex and long underwear?
