Well, my lease was just about up on my old '06 325i, so i decided to upgrade. I was initially looking for a 335i, which they wanted quite a sum of money for a 36 month lease... so i decided to shop around, and found myself this M3 at a dealership in Ohio (Im in Florida) through autotrader.com. and then i talked to the dealer, back and fourth for a while, and ended up getting an AMAZING deal on the car. Anyways, this car sat on the lot since early 2008, so you can imagine how many times the dealer washed it, and the acid rain etchings, and what not... Exterior -Wash -1Z Anti Insekt -CG CWC -Meg's mitt -P21s TAW -Wheels -CG CWC -P21s Gel -EZ detail brush -Swissvax wheel brush -OXO tire scrubber -ARO (tires) -Wheel Wells -Meg's APC+ -DD wheel well brush Clay -Special yellow poly clay -ONR lube Polishing -Exterior paint -Menzerna SIP via Orange Uber pad @ 1000-2000RPM (2-3 passes) -Menzerna PO85RD via blue 3M UK Ultrafina pad @ 1000-2000RPM -Makita 9227C -3M Yellow Foam Backing Plate -1000w halogen lights -ISA 50/50 wipedown -DD Uber MF towels LSP -Paint -Swissvax Cleaner Fluid -Swissvax Mystery -FK1# 425 -CG 530XL MF towels -Wheels -Swissvax Cleaner Fluid -Swissvax Autobahn -FK1# 425 -CG Barebones (wheel wells) -Swissvax Pneu Glass -Stoner's Invisible Glass Interior -CG Leather Cleaner -1Z Cockpit Premium -Zaino Z10 Airbag sticker removal: -3M Adhesive remover here's the before pictures. sorry about not perfect quality, my tripod broke :/ as you can see, the car was FULL of salt from being transported from Ohio to Miami. Now onto the wash and clay. i first soaked the car with P21s TAW and 1Z Anti-Insekt in order to dissolve the salt, and anything else that had settled onto the paint. then i washed the car with a high concentration of CG CWC. Pictures after wash and clay: and here's a 50/50 thats a big ball of tape! now i decided to change the rear tail lights to the Black line tail lights that i had on my old E90 325i. Before: After: much better! and now i decided to remove the airbag warning sticker from the sun visors using 3M adhesive remover Finished pics! There's a LOT! now i finished at 3AM on day 4 of the detail job. i had class the next morning at 8AM, so i took a few pictures before i headed out to class. and i had to stop and get gas on my way to school. this car guzzles gas! im getting about 13mpg right now... so on my way back from the university, im driving on the highway, and a dump truck pulls in front of me... needless to say, my car got FULL of dirt, dust, and cement. so i rushed home and cleaned it off before it could do anything to the paint. then i went out for another photoshoot Much better without the airbag stickers, and hardwired V1 well, thanks for looking! i love this car!!! Dom
Wow, great transformation there Dom! I'm jealous! So is this another lease vehicle or purchase? Any plans with the M3? I like the black grille look on Bimmer's, hehe.
What a car, WHAT A CAR! Huge upgrade from what you had previously. Congrats on the new toy, and well done on finding such a good deal on it!
Great job Sheer and congrats on getting an awesome car! Crazy how many scratches and stuff occur while on the dealership lot! That Jerez reminds me a lot of the Carbon black metallic! :thumb:
Man you must be doing pretty well for yourself rolling around in an M3! :thumb: Is it just me, or does the rear M3 badge look waayyy too puny? Have you considered taking it off (I know not many people will debadge an M car)?
OMG that car is sick, you really did a great job cleaning it up. I am acutally talking to BMW about leasing a coupe M3 or an audi S5 so this post is making me lean back to the BMW side. Best of luck on the car, -Corey
Nice Car! I like my E46 better though....lol I had to say that. I bet you have the UofM chicks all over you eh?
Well done :applause: :applause: The vehicle looks incredible :worship2: :worship2: The sun pictures are flawless...oh and I like the rims on the vehicle. Your definitely rolling in stile my friend eace:
