Hey everyone, sorry if it seemed like i dropped off the face of the planet! i just got back from a two week stay in Israel, and let me just say, it is a beautiful place, and i had a lot of fun! except for the long plane ride! so now im back at the detailing :).

this car has had very little usage. The paint was not in bad condition at all, just showed some signs o washing with improper media, and some spot-buffing which was not finished down correctly. And what a pain the ceramic clear is on this car, it took 3-4 passes with SIP and an Orange Uber pad to remove the imperfections. There was one deep RID that i could not remove from the hood, roof, and trunklid, however it was barely noticeable after i was finished with the whole process.

The owner wanted me to remove the clear bra from the hood, he didn't like how it distorted the reflection. so i started by warming it with the halogens; it was pretty cold outside, around 50F.

    and slowly removing the film

after about 10 minutes, i was only halfway

i thought the shape looked like a lizard or something

now onto the wash, then clay, and prep for polish. here's the car all taped up.

then about a week later i came back to take pictures outside. However, the car had been driven a few miles, hence the light dust.
