This car had seen a lot of track use before the current owner picked it up. after that it spent a lot of time in a shop getting the engine and chassis back to factory european specs. The paint had a lot of oxidation and buffer trails from a previous detailer, along with RIDS all over the place. the total time came out to about 35 hours. I'll let the pictures do all the talking... Interior before: the leather was in pretty good shape... however it was getting hard and was really dirty. Finished pictures!!! And "Hellga" is put away after 3 days of long, hard work. Thats all for now. Thanks for looking!
Gorgeous! No other way of putting it. Nice and wide she is, love that bodystyle. Do I spot a pretty SL in the background?
What a great detail and a beautiful car. The white looks super. perfect for that car and body style...Nice write up as well...:thumb:
What a gorgeous vehicle and an incredible turn around on the exterior and interior...but the turn around on the rims was great, gives a different appearance to the vehicle. Well done :applause:
thanks! thanks! i love the older 911's as well! great cars! thanks! thanks! thanks! the rims did clean up very nicely! thanks! thanks! i thought you would like this one! thanks! thanks! thanks!
That looks great. Those rims definatly cleaned up nicely. Track cars sure do get a beat down on the paint. I'm going to have to do some taping this summer on mine!
I have a question, in this picture you can see the power ball (um..not sure what there true name is sorry, but I'm refering to the red ball used to clean the rims) and it looks really dirty, the question is when you cleaned it were you able to remove all that black stuff/dirt/contamination from it? The reason I ask is because I'll be purchasing a few of these to start using them on rims and I'm just curious on how long they will last me.
i have never been able to clean them completely, but it still cleans the same. after you use it about 3 times, bits of foam start to fly out!
hmm... really...thank you for the feed back by the way eace: I'll start off with one and give it a go on my rims and see how it performs/holds up for me.
