This car was just recently picked up by my customer from an auction. the previous owner had passed away and the car was left sitting for about two years until it was bought at the auction. The car was going to be entered in a "Corvettes in paradise" show which is held annually by the Florida Corvette Club at the famous Holiday Isle resort in Islamorada, FL; so i had to make it a show winner.

Overall the paint wasn't in bad shape. This could have been because the car only had 14k on the odometer. However there were some very minor swirls and some oxidation from the car sitting for so long.

I decided to give this car a one step polish with Menzerna Power Finish and follow that up with a coat of Swissvax Mystery to give it an unreal shine.

Great job ... it was actually in pretty nice shape for being a FL vehicle. If you don't mind me asking ... How much time did you spend polishing?

Nice job Dom. I love it when a car looks so "sharp". No dirt in any cracks etc to soften the edges.

How long did you let the wax sit before you did a FK425 wipe down?

    Gorgeous work!

What Concours did the car win? Or did it win a specific class?
