I have been sanding with hands for some time now and would like to speed things up with a sander. Can I used an electric sander such as PC xp or meg 220 instead of an air sander? Also what other sander is recommended? I would probably used the mirka abralon system or the 3m trizact system...

I would not use the Pc for sanding automotive paint unless you want it all off?

PC works just fine.. Have tested it out with 3M sanding discs.. I have also used electrical Bosch GEX150 turbo which gives a better result then the PC, as it has a higher OPM. Experienced some "pigtales" after using PC, but not with the Bosch.

I have now invested in 3M air sander, and this is absolutely the system that deliver the best result, IMHO:)
