Well I promised Black Diamond that I would use this stuff and post up about it and so here it is. Also, Heath (Cooter) sent me his rubbish boys OE to try out as we did a trade before and he sent me the juiced edition, but then was kind enough to send OE. The test vehicle was my personal 1997 GMC Jimmy. It rarely get alot of loving, normally cause I'm too busy doing other people's cars. Meg's #151: This stuff reminds me alot of XMT 360, but alot thicker... very nice consistancy. I use the flex and a white CG MPT pad. I tried to take B/A but my truck being white it was very hard for me to capture it on camera. Anywho, the cutting ability is about that of 360... very minor removal, but left the surface feeling very smooth and glossy! I wouldn't doubt if this stuff had minimal fillers in it, but oh well. I didn't do a IA wipe down as I didn't care to do it. The way M105 works and how it can knock out ridicoulas swirls in a matter of seconds, I would use this stuff after it... a nice cleaning up product if you will. Oh yes and it comes off very easy too!!!! RB OE: What can I say that hasn't already been said about this stuff!!!??? As far as application goes, I tired heating up my pad, but didn't really seem to do anything. I used one of those Wolfgang double sided pads... but the softer side. I found that taking two finders and kind of swirling it in the wax made it more usuable. I would scrap the excess wax on the side of the lip, then run wipe my fingers on the pad and have at it. I had to do that twice to apply it to my truck I let it set for about 30-35 mins then removed without any problems. I did notice it didn't leave the finish super slick, but it felt like there was protection... and the reflections weren't distorted like there was still was left on the paint. I'm hoping Cooter will just tell me to keep the wax (hint, hint!!) Ha ha J/K!: Anyway here are the pics: P.S. Washed with heavy dose of Citrus Clear Wash Tires got Stoners More Shine Wheels got a coat of Deep Finish Wheel Sealant
Looks awesome. Now that the work truck is all cleaned up I am sure business will be booming. Great job
Looks great! Thanks for doing that review and posting pics! Looks like the 151 is good for some minor correction then. Just what I was looking for. Seems like my original assumptions were correct and this does have a place in the detailer's menu for those customers who want an "economy detail".
Nice and white!!! :applause2: Truck looks great! Your trailer and truck combo is very professional looking, I like it. :applause: :worship2: :thumb: Dave
Eeehhhh.... it's not Prius, but then again it's not a car. Pole, yeah bumper had a "crush" on a pole Brother I hope so! Thanks Eric, but I still think your tire/wheel combo is pretty sick I would agree... i just need to do a M105/151 to see how well it actually finishes off :afro: it's some good stuff! Oh... hey Heath! Um... no, I know you live in Pontoc, MS but that's about it!! Pm it to me and I'll send the wax back by wednesday! Thanks bro... the trailer is going to get a bath tomorrow followed by a coat of 845IW and wheels polished out and sealed!
