2007 Honda CRV w/ 40k miles. This is the 2nd CRV we have done and I can do without seeing one for a bit Interior wise the CRV was good, exterior wise it left a lot to desire. The exterior was heavily swirled with RIDS sporadically in the paint, very dull in appearance, water etching, the plastic trim was dull and discolored, and the clear bra was slightly discolored and scratched. This CRV was very different from the CRV the weekend before. The paint was crazy soft and very very prone to marring, even using a MF TOWEL!!!:yikes:, BUT only on the hood, driver side of the car (left side) and the rear bumper, passenger side acted completely different. This caused a lot of heartache for my partner and I we worked and worked to identify a suitibule process. We ultimately ended up with a 3 steps to finish to get the paint finished down correctly. After 20 man hours it looks better then new inside and out. Quite a transformation and quite pleasing to look at now! Sorry no outside pictures right now started raining as soon as we finished :shakehead: Oh and thanks for viewing!!! Thanks. Just a few nice plush MF towels is all it takes to remove the power lock. You need to let it set-up for at least 30 mins, an hour if you can, and it comes of super easy.
Looks like 20 hours went to very good use. The paint looks amazing. I'll be working on my dads cr-v soon and hopefully I won't have to spend as long haha.
